On this day, death's grip could no longer hold- for He became the fulfillment of all that had been for-told - from the cross He made it known- that the tomb would only be a temporary loan -when He yelled out with a victorious cry- it is finished - Telestai - He knew the debt of the world's sin that He felt on His shoulders - would be paid for when the Angels rolled back the boulder - on that morning with grave clothes no longer needed - the bondage of death's chains we all superseded - His Risen - His alive forevermore - and we can live victoriously - because of Christ, we can be for sure.
